And now I'm moving on to borders. I bought this fabric for a mystery, with help from the shop owner to pick fabrics. And I HATE the border fabrics I ended up with. They don't match, are a completely different design than anything else in the quilt, and really dark. So, I hunted for other options (I have none in my stash - and I will NOT buy more for this quilt). Finally decided, since I had a pile of fabric leftover, that I could use 3 of the main fabrics from the quilt for my borders. I'm not sure why I ended up with so much fabric, but I'm not complaining about that.
Here are the first 2 borders (on 3 sides). The final border will be the dark purple. Plugging along today, hoping to finish this weekend.
