This. Listen with one ear open - as they say. I would go ahead and attempt it. If it causes you issues contact your customer. I have heard so many warnings that didn't play true to my own experience...the best advice I can give is try for yourself and then you'll know. I have been quilting for more than ten years and haven't found a batting that I couldn't use or would turn away. Of course I have preferences...but not everyone can afford to spend $50 on wool batting for a baby or bang around quilt. I buy cheapie high loft poly for my own play around quilts all the time.
