I've found the common black at many sources, then white and brown at some places. I've never found any green or blue electrical cords. I do wish I could cos I'd like to color match a couple of machines too.

I've found green extension cords, and blue and pink hair curler or iron cords at thrift stores. I prefer cotton covered on oldies. I dont feel comfortable with clear as I've seen the conductor oxidize and corode in as short as 2 years. domestic cotton covered wire I get from auction site
The inner insulation seems of better quality than hardware store
