I feel your pain. I am usually so careful with all those scam emails and even had someone try to highjack my debt card, thank goodness Chase Bank has alerts when things go out of the norm on your account. Anyway I got nailed a few months ago, got a instant message on AOL that I thought was my oldest son, clicked on it and bam virus raced through my computer eating my hard drive. I managed to get a few files off before the Geek guys from Best Buy had to totally reformat my hard drive and reload the original Dell software. Expensive to say the least. I got Avast and love it. it even detected and got rid of the virus on the flash drives I had saved some files on. I swear by it now!!
