I re-made a tomato pincushion today. I had a nasty stained one I picked up at a yard sale for 10 cents to re-cover but I decided to take it apart and see how it's made. It's a basic tube of fabric gathered and secured well at each end and sawdust in the middle.
Have you ever lost your needle inside your pin cushion? Well, when I went to put the old sawdust into my new cushion I found 27 needles that had been lost inside!
