My own personal "shop hop"
I just returned from a week long visit to NYS and PA to see my parents and other family. While there, I visited 9 quilt shops, my parents accompanied me to 8 of them. Dad was so thrilled! They were all great shops and had different inventory. And yes, I did leave with a shopping bag from each store. But Mom, who is not a quilter, spent more than I did at two of the stores. I told her if she bought the fabric and pattern, I would make stuff for her. Now I have several table runners to make one of these days!
