Use Pigma pens and print what you want on your label. Surround it with a few hand drawn flowers, no need to be perfect, and you have a label. You can also purchase labels printed on yardage and fill in the particulars. Or make a friendship block and add the information in the signature area. You don't have to have an embroidery machine or an inkjet printer to make labels. You can use Pigma pens, permanent markers, or gel pens. Try them on a scrap of fabric and see which ones you like.
