Strange question from me, which seems to be my usual.
Right now I have the Q-Snap Floor Frame, which you can see here:

It's a pretty big frame, and I have limited space. And I also am very short, so reaching around that big frame is a bit challenging.
I recently discovered the Ulmer frame, which you can see here:
http://www.ulmerquilter.com/
I like the fact that the Ulmer is so much narrower than the Q-Snap. Working on a smaller area, I think, would be easier for my short arms.
I'm wondering if there's any way to change the Q-Snap to the narrower version, maybe by cutting the PVC pipe? If anyone has tried that, can you tell me how it worked?
I know the Q-Snap will never have the "foldability" of the Ulmer frame. Maybe I should just go ahead and sell the Q-Snap and buy the Ulmer.
