of the brands and types i can afford, i prefer [walmart's] Great Value Dark Roast.
if they are out, second choice is GV Colombian.
third choice is Folger's Black Silk.

i will sometimes indulge in a fancy shmancy brand but have not yet found one i like any better than the GV Dark Roast.
that includes the grind-at-home whole bean types.
woe be to my budget if i ever do. LOL LOL LOL
