Here is the behind my long arm photo. The shelf is at 6 feet and I am 5 ft 4 in. so it works. The white board is for practicing patterns before starting or making notes about the corners etc. It is also magnetic and used to be my design board. BTW, I have a twin bed hidden underneath it as well.
