Quilted tops for couch seats? Crazy idea?
Four years ago I bought a microfiber couch and two loveseats, supposed to be easy to clean. Yeah, well, they apparently didn't put it through the grandson-cats-new puppy test because this fabric doesn't really come clean. grr...
I've tried everything but it's basically fabric over foam and once smells are in and stains aren't cleaned up right away, well, you know the rest.
Anyway, I was thinking of making covers to lay over the seats, like how they make those quilted things that lay on the end of a bed or over the top of a couch. I thought this might be nicer than just tucking in a sheet, which may be more practical and I can do that in like 30 seconds, lol, but of course, why be easy?
Have you ever made quilted covers for your furniture? Is it worth it?
