I think the most important thing is to TRIM the HST's to the same measurements.
And I don't think you have to measure to eighth inches when you cut the nine patches. You can cut the nine patch close but not precise. Someone should try cutting only one fourth instead of one third. A brand new block? ? ?
Those little triangles make the cutest little hour glasses.
