MSQC uploaded a video for the JRR v3.0 recently, and whilst watching Jenny putting the 'triangles' onto the Jelly Roll strips I had one of those lightbulb moments and thought I wonder if it would work to combine both the techniques mentioned in the title....and this is what I came up with....currently only in a small scale, but soon to be done in an actual quilt top size (for Aussie Hero Quilts, which is similar to Quilts of Valor)

So far as I know, I've not seen one done this way before and I think it will make for an interesting finished quilt don't you?
