You don't really need a pattern, you just need a Dresden ruler, or make your own template. A circle is appliqued over the center opening. The Dresdens are sewn together, then appliqued onto a whole cloth. There are many youtube videos and free directions on making Dresden's out on the internet.

To make it reversible, just make the 2 Dresdens with the same template or ruler. Then put good side to good side, you are looking at the seams on the top and the bottom, sew around the outside edge, turn the Dresden's inside out and add your 2 center circles. I would probably hand applique the center circles on.

I like the idea and concept. I think I will make a bigger template or use the GO cutter die and make some of these for my table. Oh no....another project to add to the 100+ that I already have. I wonder how long I have to live to finish everything I want to do.
