I think that would definitely work! From the looks of that review you'd just need to make sure you iron it well enough so that the dye comes through as brightly as possible!

I've just ordered a kit for my friend! Very, very tempted to get myself one too! I think it would be a great help for a quilt that my next door neighbour asked for (and I have been regretting being so drunk on new year's that I said yes straightaway!) using a picture of the pyramids as inspiration. He doesn't like traditionally pieced quilts, so I think this could really be a good way to go for that one!
