Ok, I'm going to try this again, lost my link...anyway,

There are 2 ladies here in Colorado that are getting hundreds of quilts made and quilted for soldiers. One is Alicia Carmen, Quilts of Valor. She is a 5th grade teacher that got her class, then the local high school, parents, the town and so many more involved helping make quilts for the soldiers at Ft Carson Colorado. Hope you check out her blog....I couldn't find the website. She is very nice and humble about all her work on this project. http://alyciaquilts.blogspot.com/

The other lady is Juliette Madsen. She was a soldier that was wounded in Iraq. She started a project making quilts, then had an auction. The $$ raised was for the Veterans Wheelchair Games that will be held in Denver July 4-9 2010. The actual quilts were given to vetrans at the VA hospital. I don't have her www, but can get it if anyone wants to read her story.
