Thank you everyone that has answered my question. I enjoyed your stories of your experience and the tricks of the 'trade' you have used or found the 'how' of it. With all of your encouragement, I shall try it this year. Yes, I have a pressure cooker and two cold water boiling pans to can with, so I do have the right equipment for the job....and a 'fruit pantry' to place them into.
