No. I selected this machine to experiment with treadling a freearm machine for use in mending denim jeans. I’ve went as far as removing the motor and test-fitting the machine to a flat surface treadle top to look at the possibility. I got hung-up on exactly how I would stabilize the machine without modifying or changing the machine, and haven’t ever gotten back to the project. The needle type has also been a deterrent to my project, since my mending activities usually muck out a few needles, and the needles for this machine are not common. The machine currently lives in its case in my bathroom, and is now serving as a very nice magazine stand.
