My cow was bred by the neighbors bull who was a charlaee which happen to be white. There are red angus also. Just like with puppies.Sometimes a white pup will be born to a black mom and a white dad. and some may be like the mom black. It really has nothing to do with the color as to where they end up. Right now the black angus are popular. a few years ago Santa Gertudis were popular. They are deep red color.Once in the butcher shop you don't know what color they were.
