Yours is blonde. I knew they came in other veneers, but this is the first blonde one I have seen. Mine is mahogany and it had some delamination of the back piece from the same water damage. People kept them in their basements I guess. I was able to find veneer on a paper tape 3" wide and with a straight edge, could cut out the damaged veneer and replace it with the new. A simple touch-up with stain and it was good. Looks fine considering how it was before. The desk aspect was intriguing with the inkwell and pen rest in the top drawer. Multi-tasker of its era I suppose..
