I make Quilts for Kids quilts. I chose them specifically because the quilts go to children. I, personally, have a problem with who receives some charity. Before you get all worked up, I've done a lot of volunteer work in my town. I've seen the same adults go from agency to agency getting whatever they can free - when I know they don't actually need what they are receiving. They know what's available and they know how often they can ask for it. I've also see adults who needed help not ask for it because they were too embarrassed - sad. Anyway, long story short, that's why I chose to make children's quilts. Children don't choose their circumstances. A quilt can make any child feel special and loved. I've also made Quilts of Valor but not nearly as many as QFKs.
