Well it's been an interesting 6 week project. Create and install a Murphy bed and a topper quilt for my granddaughter. Project took about 100 hours and $1400 for materials. All in all it was a challenge to do two time consuming projects at the same time, but when Kylee was propped up in her new bed reading a book the other night, it was worth it! I doubt I will ever do multiple projects again. Days in the shop fabricating the bed and early morning/late night quilting was pushing the bar higher and I am glad it's done-whew!! The smile
on Kylee's face made it all worthwhile. Kylee picked out the top and bottom thread colors and the quilt pattern. All quilt fabric is leftover/donated pieces. I made the quilt a two sided one. Hope you enjoy.
