Default Pillows 4 & 5 from the thrifted sheet & fat quarter

And I did use a scrap of some white fabric too. The sheet was only $.99 so I got a lot of usage from it. I know I've read that you shouldn't use sheets for quilts because they won't stand the test of time but for pillows and little projects they work perfectly for me. I am not sure if they say that so you buy more fabric but if I didn't thrift I wouldn't be able to sew nearly as much as I do. I already posted pillows 1, 2 and 3 and I only have a little snippet of the sheet yet but I'm gonna squeeze something else out of it too. I just liked the blue fabric of the sheet. It almost looked like chambray. Pillow 4 is almost like pillow 2. I sewed strips of fabric together for the squares - for pillow 2 the were cut 2" squares. For pillow 4, I cut varying widths and used a decorative stitch on my machine for the quilting. I just straight stitched with the wiggly lines. I like the look and will do it again. It was an experiment.
