It looks pretty. the 2 yellow background fabrics are close enough to each other that the mistake is not important. what will matter if you are combining this block with others is that the 'sky' part of your flying geese blocks don't touch. You might check out Ohio Star or flying geese on
www.quilterscache.com. I suspect that you made the star points touch before you sewed them together, thus not touching after your seam. been there. done that.
