I agree that taking out the whites would make a huge difference - or trying sashing. But, having said that, I also know very well what happens when you have it in your head that it is bad. You just don't want it as a quilt - anymore. Ok, so think outside the box. Holidays are coming up - what about taking a couple of the 4 blocks and making a few tote bags and fill with an inexpensive bottle of wine or bath stuff as a gift. What about cutting thru the white ones to make large stockings - again to use as gift holders. I'm not a big pot holder fan, but a couple potholders and a matching tea towel would be a great gift. Maybe you already have a whole lot of your neighbors gifts half made!! Quilters do not have mistakes, we just have happy accidents!
