I had a top loader w/o agitator GE. It did NOT get clothes cleaner, no option to fill tub to what you want- it "senses" what is needed. Husband has lawn & landscape business clothes didn't get clean, even lightly soiled ones. Tub agitation constantly twisted up sheets, shirts etc. Took it back and got a new model with agitator. Salesman said they had had many returned, different models. My DS & DDIL love theirs, but their clothes are never really dirty and they dry clean many items. Just my experience. I'm 5'1" I had to use a stool to get to the bottom!
