I'm with Cari and KRA. When you figure the workmanship and materials used in these old machines plus the fact we'll never see their like again then the price becomes irrelevant compared to the enjoyment you'll get out of it.

So far we have one running 99 and one I robbed parts from. I'm very pleased with how the running one sews. I think you'll enjoy yours. Did you get the rest of the bentwood case with yours?

Sew-Classic sells replacement bobbin winder tires. It looks like you could use one, you have some sort of rubber washer on yours right now. Also, I've had issues with bobbins from places like Walmart being too narrow at the rim for vintage bobbin winders. You might consider buying some good bobbins from Sew-Classic too. In case you're not already aware your machine uses regular sewing machine needles and class 66 bobbins.
I took forever figuring out what my first vintage machine needed probably because it's so basic it doesn't get mentioned.
