Does it stitch backwards only when you run the motor, or also when you turn the handwheel?
Only with the motor, probably what everyone was saying.
Handwheel too - 1. the machine is designed to crank backwards from what we're used to - i.e the handwheel turns away from us, not toward - but I don't think that's the case with this particular machine. 2. The feed dog timing is off by 180 degrees.
