Have you talked to her about the tops since she asked for the "special " one back ? I would start there and explain that there was no "teal" one in the stack and you had a blue one, that she had given you to practice on , which you did and then cut up for more practice. You bought the LA from her ? Who was getting paid to quilt the tops ? I think honesty is the best policy here, everyone knows there is a "slight" rick of things happening when yu hand your quilt over to someone else and even though we hope and pray that nothing goes wrong , occasionally it does.Good Luck
