When I made a 2 sided quilt I quilted each side separately --- one side was a Spiderman panel, the other side a Cars panel. I used the panel and batting when quilting each panel -- then put them together and bound them after stitching just a few spots so the quilts didn't separate. It turned out really cute if I do say so myself! For some reason I didn't take a picture of it though!
