Then, I made the 5 point star. I spent a lot of time trying to explain it to someone on here that I decided to make one :). There are 11 fabrics and 11 pieces and each star has 11 different fabrics. The trick is to cut all 11 pieces. Then in each pile, move 1 fabric to the bottom, then the next 2 to the bottom, keeping them in order, so that the final pile has 1 of each fabric. As long as they're in order, if you have 11 different fabrics on top, you'll have 11 different fabrics in each star.

I think this block was borderline too busy, but I like it and am happy with how it came out.

Ultimately, all 20 blocks are going into 1 quilt. I'm giving them to my boyfriend to lay out since he's really good at quilt layouts (and I would go nuts since there is a weird number of each block)
