Mom passed peacefully yesterday, having not woken up since Monday. We know that she is happy again, can only imagine the reunion she is having with loved ones who have gone on before her.
Tom, his brother and sister are meeting with the funeral director today. Due to the New Year's holiday, it looks like services will not be until Monday and Tuesday of next week. I wish it were sooner, but it will all work out.
It is a testament to our love of life and living that we are not always ready to say goodbye when a loved one passes on to glory.
It is a privilege to participate in a memorial service celebrating a life that made a difference in so many ways. A peaceful passing must seem like an added blessing to a wonderful life.
