I used it on my son's baby quilts which were made of flannel. It was a long time ago and when I realized how attached he got to the blanket I made him 3 more just the same, I am sure there is at least one hiding somewhere in the mother has to keep drawer. As I recall I didn't add it as a binding, just sewed around the edges of it. He liked it!
