The beliefs are the same - the Mo Synod is just more conservative than the ELCA. my Mother's church was ELCA and they broke away because it was too liberal. I think that is the only difference. We have the same church service as you, we just don't go with the more liberal ideas.
But we are all one under God, right???? Golly, I sure hope so!~Edie
