It's just regular darning on a cylinder bed machine.That's how I was taught to darn, but I usually do it with zig zag. Nice technique, now I have to go try to copy it with a free arm machine.

True true but... you know... Power! lol I too was a zig zagger then i saw embroidery done on a 15 treadle. Which BTW was truly ah-mazing! I just kinda thought the arm was a nifty thing.
