I use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe down my mat. Works for me. I also use the Swiffer cloths and Mr. Clean Eraser if I get it dirty. After cutting, I use the Swiffer cloths immediately. Those are great for picking up little threads and pieces of lint. When using spray starch or any kind of spray, I try to wipe that up immediately. I try to remember to cover my surfaces when using any sprays at all. I have couple pieces of vinyl I use. I hate to have to clean all the time so I'd rather cover my bases so to speak.
