I cut 10 inch squares, 5 inch squares and 4 inch squares. The rest is cut into strips of various widths and used in string quilts. I cut up the pieces that are less than a quarter of a yard, the full quarters go into plastic shoe boxes and the larger pieces go into my regular stash sorted by color.
