Thanks for the critiques. I can see how important the center is. You would need your iron right next to the sewing machine and no slipping on each fold and stitch. I would like to have seen her sewing as well.

I can do it faster just cutting & sewing PLUS I don't have to worry about centering the block in the exact center on the first fold , if not centered the other strips ( top & bottom ) are off center
