I decided this year to recycle this year's Christmas cards for next year. I bought plain blank cards at JoAnn's and I'm going to return to everyone the cards that they sent this year. Just for fun. I'm going to fussy cut the front of their cards and glue on the front of the blank cards and fussy cut the inside message and paste to the inside of the card, add a personal message and send them back next year. Other than buying the blank cards, it's my "green" effort. Maybe add some "frames" to the messages. Get some Christmas paper sheets to decorate, maybe make some quilty backgrounds. Does this sound tacky? I thought it would be fun to do. I figured it's cheaper than buying Christmas cards but it will be more labor intensive for me. I've not done any scrap book stuff but thought it might be fun to try. What do you all think? Want your feedback.
