sdeaaz - no -- fabric A inb my first posting called for 44" for the blocks and the border, of which 16" is allocated for the border. You need 28" of A for making the blocks in the quilt.

It is probably like a strip tube ruler. I don't have one so I am guessing. Wondercut also has a triangle ruler and a pattern for a Tumbling Block Quilt. It is the only way I will make A Tumbling Block Quilt, much easier than the traditional way. I made a baby quilt for a great niece and I made my purple Tumbling Block lap quilt. They were really easy with the triangle ruler.
