Jan, I have one and have never figured out how to use.... I wanted it to mark 1/4 inch seams for my hand quilting. I didn't think it worked well, but maybe using it wrong.

I've used mine for 18 years with templates for that perfect 1/4" seam allowance. I thought the thing was called Dream Seamer, but I surely can't remember!
