So this treadle, came from another wonderful QB on the Oregon Coast. It was in my garage for awhile, but now it's in my living room now so I have put in on the top of the que (mostly). It is a really nice stitcher and has a wonderful feature for a newbie at treadling. It has an anti-reverse built into the flywheel!! All it needed was a 3/4 " dia. rubber ball, like is used on the Willcox & Gibbs treadle.

What's cool is, you don't need to use your hand to start sewing, unless the pitman arm to the flywheel is at about Top Dead Center or Bottom Dead Center, then you will need to nudge it just a bit. it's very quiet and smooth machine.

It was kinda easy to get a 1/4" seam allowance on some scrap using this attachment.

I also happen to have another Damascus Grand that is electric in a case. And this pretty Stag Electric from Horn's Dept Store is also a match, it has a swing away HB motor.

It had no problem sewingl past the piece and starting another, (starters and leaders?). I love it!!
