I hope the blocks are 8.5, because that is what I did for the first one.
I'm not that good at flying geese either so I took the One Seam Flying Geese route. I saw a video the other day on it, 4.5 inch in between the two 2.5 inch, you end up with pockets on your point, but that doesn't matter to me. The first pic is of the 4.5 inch blocks we did last week and the second is the star.
