Great gift! You might start by looking at the sticky for cleaning old sewing machines and watch Muv's videos. Use sewing machine only and oil everything that moves or looks like it should move. The fact that you can move it at all tells me it won't be too bad to free the rest of it up. Be patient. It didn't get stuck overnight and it will probably take a little time and effort to get it working again.
I know nothing about the smaller machines like yours so I can't help with specifics.
Pictures: I was thinking it might be best to leave the double pictures double. I just had the thought that when admin fixes the bug that's causing the double pictures the "extra" ones might disappear. If that happens, we might lose part of the picture record if both sets aren't there.
