I was born a Lutheran and am proud of it. I really enjoyed working at the school---15 yr. I like the fact that we could discipline the kids, pledge the flag, chapel etc. I had the After School Day Care Program. I really miss the kids. They are going to try and resurrect the school again in a few years. they probably won't be able to get any of the old staff back because we all have a very bitter taste in our mouths.
My gentleman friend is Catholic and prefers the Lutheran church.
I hope you don't mind me asking questions etc.
I don't mind at all. As a matter of fact it is nice to "meet" someone who has the same thoughts as I do.
Waiting right now for a neighbor to come over for a mug of apple cider with a cinnamon stick. It is only +5 degrees. REally cold out and he has been raking snow off his roof, his garage and shed, shoveling snow and putting down salt.
I shoveled a bit our sidewalk and our other next door neighbors. She'll be home from Chicago tomorrow. Still have to do her walk in the back. It is a mess here. All the chunks of slush are icebergs! Really icky. Edie
