When you are deciding between 2 machines with different names made by theBrother company,BUY Brother- there is no other.
It's marketing. Usually when there are two brands made by the same company, of course the company brand will be a bit better somewhere. For example, the almost identical Janome and Elna embroidery machines. Both built by Janome. What's the difference? The Janome machines have a bit better software in them but the Elna costs more.
