I like the panel but minus the border. That is hideous. LOL That would have to go. You could soften it up by adding a beige or cream colored first border and then on the outside of that, add piano keys in the tone on tone colors or lightly printed Christmas prints to compliment the colors on the panel....so for example, the red, green on the vest, cream, black combination in alternating colors. Just a thought. I'm a relative newbie, but If it was me, I would try that. Good luck. You will figure it out!
