King Kaffe ... Finished!!!
I finally finished the quilt I began in July 2013 for our king size bed. The last stitches in the binding were put in yesterday and it made its way right onto the bed. It is made from the String of Pearls pattern and I used Kaffe Fassett bright prints for the centers. I also enlarged it from the original 66x66 to a whopping 102x112 by adding rows and three borders so it would fit the bed with plenty of overhang. My wonderful LA did a perfect job choosing a simple but beautiful pattern that not only accents the quilt, but shows her lovely work, too. It all went together so well and I am (a) happy that it turned out so well and (b) happy that it is finished! I hope that you like it, too. :^)
