Mine are displayed "in the wild" - draped over my spouse, or over a nest of snoozy dogs! Sometimes I make the bed and then you can see the bed quilt, LOL.
None of my quilts are displayed except by accident, when they might get draped over a couch or chair after being used.
I do like how they look when I go around and collect them all up for a washing, and they come out all fresh and fluffy and I fold them into squares and make a stack on the recliner. But they never stay that way for long! DH & I are "throw quilt" people and we (and our dogs) use all my quilts that I've kept on a regular basis! Every once in awhile DH talks about hanging up the bargello I made for him, but he always decides he doesn't want it out of reach. I think that's sweet.
