Cute story, dad's are so wonderful and inspiring! I just, this morning, got back the first pair (and the only) pair of of socks that I made, for him(not a good knitter, this was the only pair I ever did, lots of air spaces (I think he put them on Sunday mornings only and likely wished I would leave so he could get the itchy things off but they are so dear to me!, as the quilt will be!
